My Story
Hello! My name is Anis, and I am a computer scientist based in Toronto, ON. I love to create things that people can enjoy or benefit from. My passion for programming began in 2011 when I started trying to create mods for the popular video game Minecraft. Who knew trying to make your character be able to fly in a block video game could teach you so much about Java?! Out of my newfound interest in programming arose my passion for problem-solving. Together, these two interests drove me to become a computer scientist, as I wanted to create things that solve real-world problems.
I am currently a third-year student attending the University of Toronto as a Computer Science Specialist. Throughout my computer science journey, I have worked with the following languages: Java, Python, C, C++, JavaScript, Swift, HTML/CSS, and MIPS Assembly.
